First Playtime Owie

April 18, walking the cement path leading up to our house, like he'd done a million times, Caleb fell and scraped up his knee pretty good.  Somehow it was his first real playtime injury since he learned to walk!  At least the first that drew blood.  So we had to document it!

We tried to introduce band-aid magic, but he didn't go for that.

After it had been cleaned.  It really wasn't all that bad, but it did traumatize the poor little guy.

He just liked a wet washcloth on it and lots of snuggles.

We tried to calm him down with a piece of chocolate, but it didn't really work.

Tear stains.

Putting the washcloth back on after Daddy tried to take it off... he held it on there for a long time!

Finally listening to Daddy that it was going to be okay.  I love the look on Tyler's face here - so full of love.  And Caleb is obviously listening.
