Summer Vaca: Portland 2

We spent another day on the boat with Mom, Dad, Cory and Jackie.  I was newly pregnant and nauseous so I didn't do much, but the rest of them had a ball wake-boarding, knee-boarding and tubing.  Caleb loved riding in the boat and playing on the sandy shore.

And of course we stopped at Burgerville for dinner.

Nothing like boating hair. :)

Their fresh berry milkshakes are the best ever.  You probably gain 3 pounds on the spot.

Family Party

Caleb and his oldest cousin really enjoyed each other this trip.

My parents with all of their grandkids at the time.  Since then little Kate has been born!

Caleb was so good at smiling for the camera then!

Thanks for a great trip!

Summer Vaca: Portland 1

After our week in Redding, my parents drove down to pick us up for a week in Portland.  We had a great time!

Visiting the zoo with Grandma

We are looking down at Caleb here.  I like this picture because you can see the love in my mom's face.  So classic from her.

We took a day trip to the coast.  Of course it was cold even though it was August.  We walked the shops and then let Caleb play in the sand.  Tyler got some great pictures here.

OF COURSE we had to eat lunch at Mo's.

Even the other high chair kid sees just how ridiculously large this piece of meat is for him!

Love at day at the coast!!!

Summer Vaca: Redding/Wedding

After a week in Laguna with Tyler's family, but without Tyler, Tyler joined us and we headed north to Redding for a week.  We sure enjoyed Grandma & Grandpa's pool and the sun sun sun!  Somehow didn't take any other pictures or we must have lost them. :(

While Caleb and Tyler stayed in Redding, I flew back down to LA to be at my undergrad roommate's wedding.  We met freshman year in the dorms and then shared a room the next three years until she graduated and I left on my mission.  Our other two roommates of 4 years were there too as well as a bunch of girls from our freshman floor.  It was SOO fun to see them all again.  Serious highlight of my year.  It was hard to leave Caleb at first (I cried as I said goodbye), but so refreshing to be carefree for a weekend with the girls.  Here are a few pics.

The Fabulous Four.

Just after their sealing in the LA Temple.  (I love how there's a seperate exit for weddings here and how the temple worker announces the new Mr. and Mrs.!!)

Aren't they cute?

Hopefully I can find the rest of my pictures, because I know there are more!  Either way, we had a great time in Redding and I had a great time at Ashley's wedding!
