Friends

We miss our friends in Pittsburgh a lot, but we have made a few here!  And we are grateful.  Three other families moved into our ward about the same time as us and all three have kids about the same ages as ours.  The video at the end is worth your time.  Seriously!  So cute!!

One of his favorite new friends.   She's 6 months younger and can talk circles around Caleb but loves Cars and dogs just as much as he does.  She has a new baby brother too and they play together really well.  I think the jealousy/non-sharing/toy-stealing is sometimes easier for Caleb with girls than boys.

A favorite social gathering for most of our ward is tailgating before the high school football game.  Their stadium and uniforms are SO NICE.  They take football very seriously!  They even roast freshly road-killed possum at these things.  We got eaten alive by the bugs at this one and felt so southern.

These two little boys wanted to get into the game so bad!  You had to pay to park in the stadium parking and then pay again to get into the game!!  High school!  The game started at 7:30 so we just tailgated and went home... weird?  Probably.

Playgroup!  My house!
Mallory, AraMae, Meagan, Jessica & Sydny

My new neighbor/VT companion/fellow commiserating mom/dentist wife/Navy wife/feeds me dinner and has my back friend, Meagan.

Caleb's favorite friend to talk about: Carter.  He lives just a block away and he always wants to go over!  Carter is 4 so their interests are sometimes pretty different, but Caleb sure likes him (when they don't fight...)

Okay, here's the cutest video you've ever seen.  Caleb with McKenna and the babies.

  2. Ha! Is that first picture Caleb adjusting this diaper? That cracks me up! So did you try the road-kill possum?
