I Found You!

A couple of days ago I decided that I wanted to get some more candid pictures of Caleb whilst playing with the objects of his choice.  At this point in his little life he still generally likes to play close to me and even with me (or Tyler if he's home).  But sometimes he wonders off on his own and find his own adventures.  Here are a few of them during the last two days.

The inside of his closet.  He LOVES pulling to standing position right now!

Sometimes I leave the door open for a few minutes so we can hear the birds and he can look outside.  First useful purpose I've found for a screen door.

The Very Hunger Catepillar is another one of our favorites.  Largely due to the different-length-ed pages and holes, but you know, I'll take it.

Oh, you have the camera?  I know just what to do!

The vacuum is probably his single most favorite object as of late.  He loves playing with all the tubes and pieces.  Here he's trying to lift it back up.  He's trying SO hard!  Look at his face!  He can actually get it up a couple of inches.  It's the cutest thing EVER.

He also discovered how to flush the toilet a few days ago.  Moving a lever that makes a loud noise?  Can't blame him for thinking it's cool.

We have all these children's paperback chapter book from my teaching days.  They've held up through 31 fifth graders in a tiny reading nook so one baby is no big deal.  They make for perfect bottom-shelf fun.

Bahaha!  He also plays with his actual toys from time to time!
