Seven States-a-Crossing

As August 2008 approached, we packed all our belongings and not-yet-used wedding presents in DAQ and an U-Haul, with the great help of my parents, and drove away from Provo, probably forever.

Leaving from Utah, we crossed Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and finally to Pennsylvania. We stayed in random motels along the way, listened to a few books on tape, and had a lot of fun!

The day before departing from Utah, we actually drove from my parents house in Portland, so we very nearly drove the width of the United States in a week! Despite the fun we had, driving the entire width of the country in a week is an adventure we probably won't ever attempt.

Along the way, we saw the world's largest Cabela's.

A town named Newton. (Or at least the sign for one; we obviously didn't stop.)

And some funny street lights!

We also saw a lot of beautiful country. It was really fun!!
